JC SOON

After years of writing, recording, and performing with a variety of musical acts, New Jersey-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jon Chang-Soon showcases his individual voice through the creation of J.C. SOON. By intertwining indie, pop, and rock elements, he writes catchy songs that are tracked almost entirely by himself.

J.C. SOON's new EP "Alone Together" draws inspiration from the percussive elements and synth sounds of the 80s while simultaneously exploring multiple corners of the modern indie pop genre.

Despite a single EP under his belt, J.C. SOON is anything but new to the New Jersey music scene. Prior to this solo project, his involvement with alt/hard-rock band Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son has led to performances with acts like Bon Jovi, Vini Lopez (Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band), Ricky Byrd (Joan Jett and the Blackhearts), Against Me!, Murder By Death, and more. It has also led to features in national publications such as Alternative Press and The Hard Times.
